DC Soccer NJ is excited to introduce our comprehensive Team Development Program, designed specifically for travel soccer teams aiming to stay active and cohesive during the summer months or get an early advantage for the fall season.
Program Highlights.
Our program offers professional coaching led by experienced UEFA and USSF-licensed coaches. Each session follows a meticulously crafted curriculum targeting all facets of the game, employing a "Guide and Discover" coaching style. This innovative approach helps players understand the "What, When, Why, and How" of soccer through guided questions that encourage critical thinking and a sense of accomplishment.
By fostering these skills, our program not only equips players to think on their feet but also enhances both individual and team confidence, on and off the ball.
Training Structure
Starting a new season can be challenging, especially when players have had limited interaction and practice during the off-season. Our program is designed to address these challenges by offering intensive, focused training sessions. The program spans one week, totaling 15 hours of training. Each week includes five sessions of three hours each, replicating the intensity and rigor of five weeks of bi-weekly training.
Core Training Areas
Our Team Development Program focuses on four critical areas:
Technical Skills: Enhancing passing, first touch, 1v1 skills, and more.
Tactical Understanding: Mastering positioning and movement on and off the ball.
Soccer IQ: Through coaching points, players grasp the WHAT (actions), WHEN (timing), WHY (reasons), and HOW (strategies) of effective play.
Confidence Building: Using the "Guide and Discover" coaching method, players learn to make decisions independently, boosting their confidence and performance.
What You Receive
Intensive Weekly Sessions: One-week programs featuring three hours of training each day from Monday to Friday.
Flexible Scheduling: Choose any week from the end of June until the start of the fall season.
Customized Coaching: A professional coach tailors the curriculum to meet your team's specific needs.
Ongoing Support: DC Soccer NJ offers continued assistance and advice to coaches throughout the fall season.
Location Flexibility
Our coaches will travel to a location of your choice. Simply provide access to a suitable field selected by you or your club.
